OUR HISTORY 2009
MF2F was established with a mission to develop and nurture a sustainable local food system.
2010
Founded the Ennis Farmers Market and launched geothermal greenhouse to increase availability of locally grown produce. Initiated Farm 2 School Program at Ennis Schools w/ full-time Food Corp Vista.
2011
Partnered with the Madison Conservation District to launch award winning three-week Good Thymes Camp for 1st - 6th graders.
2012 Led community volunteers in building an outdoor garden at the Elementary School where hundreds of weekly natural food production classes have been taught.
2015
Co-sponsored and developed the innovative GROWW (Gardens, Resources, Outdoors, Wildlife and Watersheds) Program with the Madison Conservation District as a long-term solution to continue our experiential youth programs.
2016
GROWW Program expanded summer offering to include Great Yellowstone Adventure Camp for 7th and 8th graders.
2018
Great Yellowstone Adventure Camp will expand to take the entire Ennis Schools 8th grade class to Yellowstone National Park for a five-day adventure intensive lead by park rangers.
